About Us
Kijani Blue AgriBusiness (KBAB) is a South African-based company that processes and exports superfood products from Southern Africa. Most of KBAB’s inputs are equitably sourced from local small scale female farmers. These female farmers form an integral part of our out-grower network, who supply the company with organically grown ingredients. As such our model begins with assisting our out-growers, as needed, with producing organic crops, to giving a hand in minimal value-addition processing including drying, crushing, packing, oil extraction, and more, in preparation for ingredients that KBAB uses into it’s final products for local use and for export.
What we do
Our organically grown inputs are equitably sourced from predominantly local small-scale women farmers who form an integral part of our out-grower network. Through collaboration with our partners, we manufacture organic and natural superfoods for human and animal consumption. We also distribute organic fertilizers, stimulants and systems for crop yields.
Our Partners
We strategically partner with organizations and agencies that facilitate the vast reach and scalability of our model. Current strategic partners include African Women in Agriculture (AWiA), A Gift to Africa, Seed 2 HarvestBe-Botanical, Africrops, Sewere Entreprises, Tim Nectar farms, NTL Baraka, and many other women micro farmers.
